Huntington HospitalHuntington Hospital is part of the North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System. It's newly renovated rooms and departments display the strength of its medical staff and personnel. Our board certified physicians see in-patients at the hospital on a regular basis. The physicians also participate and lead many of the committees and conferences throughout the hospital. The Cancer Program at Huntington is certified by the American College of Surgery. St. Catherine of Siena Medical CenterSt. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown includes the hospital, medical office building and nursing home. On October 24, 1997, the Most Rev. John R. McGann, D.D., Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, announced the formation of Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS), a new organization which oversee and coordinate the delivery of services in the four Diocesan hospitals, Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, West Islip; Mercy Medical Center, Rockville Centre; St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, Port Jefferson; and St. Francis Hospital-The Heart Center, Roslyn. In less than three years, CHS has expanded to now include an array of health care organizations.The new structure offers each facility the means to embrace the changes affecting the healthcare delivery system in today's environment, while preserving commitment to high-quality, compassionate care, firmly rooted in the ethical and social teachings of the Church.
